The Brio system was humanity's second largest colonized solar system, second only to humanity's home system of Sol. This changed after the Siege of Brisch of 2285, when the most populous planet of the system, Brisch, was nearly flattened. Reconstruction efforts have begun, but the Brio system fell to sixth in overall human population.
The Brio system consists of twelve planets, seven of which are gaseous.
